Ken Ratcliffe, Sales Director
Ken Ratcliffe is a founding director of Chemostrat along with Tim Pearce. He has worked in the oil industry for over 20 years after graduating from Imperial College and being awarded his doctorate from Aston University. Having successfully set up the Houston office and a Chemostrat presence in Australia as a focal point for Asia Pacific studies, Ken has recently been appointed Sales Director. He maintains a high research profile through his publications on modern stratigraphic techniques, including chemostratigraphy
John Martin, Director
John Martin graduated from Aberdeen University in 1994 with a BSc honours degree and from Queen Mary College London in 1996 with an MSc degree. John undertook the first ever wellsite chemostratigraphy trial in 2001 and has more than 15 years of wellsite and analytical/chemostratigraphy experience with Chemostrat.
Dawn Snyder, Wellsite Manager
Dawn Snyder, based in our Houston office, is a Geologist and Wellsite Manager. She has a BSc from Utah Valley University and also studied Geological Engineering at the University of Utah. Dawn has over ten years’ experience with materials engineering, core analysis, X-ray technologies, oil field work, and Advanced Geochemical Testing with a technical focus in unconventional shale resource plays. She specializes in applications of elemental, mineralogical, and chemical testing in the real-time for oil and gas exploration, completions, and production.
